Recently appointed as a member of the Machakos Environmental Committee, Yvonne’s journey continues to inspire many, particularly in the education sector, where she serves as the Vice Chairperson of KUPPET Machakos Branch.

    Fondly known as the “Iron Lady” by teachers in Machakos, Yvonne has earned this title through her boldness, resilience, and deep sense of compassion. She has consistently championed the rights of teachers, advocating for better working conditions, fair remuneration, teachers welfare and policies that uplift the teaching profession. Her ability to stand firm in the face of challenges while maintaining a heart full of empathy has made her a beacon of hope and strength.

    Beyond her role in KUPPET, Yvonne’s new appointment to the Machakos Environmental Committee is a testament to her versatility and dedication to public service.
